Calming Light is a face-sized light with 72 LEDs, giving out a special wavelength with anti-bacterial properties. Its three panels guarantee an intense, uniform, targeted light treatment. UV light can cause premature skin aging and over-keratinization (eg. through sunburn). Calming light has none of these disadvantages.

The standard course of treatment lasts 4-8 weeks. Light treatment must be carried out 15-20 cm distance for 15-20 minutes at least once a week. At the start of the 3rd/4th treatment, the skin condition may appear worse – this is a normal part of the healing process. Acne will show a positive improvement after around 4 weeks.

Acne has many different causes, and each case must be assessed and treated individu- ally. Calming Light should form part of a longterm acne treatment; it should not be used as the sole treatment method.
